Aftermath of Hurricane Irene

In September, 2011 Vermont was smacked in the mouth by Hurricane Irene, which left in its wake an array of ruined homes, businesses and roads. Large chunks of Vermont’s highways and roads were washed down stream, cutting off many towns from normal movement around the state. In cooperation with the Vermont Agency of Transportation, L.H.S. set out to repair Vermont’s roads.
